Rogue Saints Xtreme!
IPB Image

Come visit our new closed pit server (with just the speed bar activated) brought to you by The [RS]Rogue Saints. The new server is listed as “Rogue-Saints_X” in Hyperlobby.

[RS] has put together a variety of missions ranging from historical to non-historical with an emphasis on historical plane sets.

Here is just one example of an historical mission that is on the server right now:

"The Big E"
Wake Island February 24, 1942: The Big E
IPB Image
The USS Enterprise left Pearl Harbor on February 14, 1942 to rendezvous with the USS Yorktown for an attack on Eniwetok. Two days later after departing Peal Harbor the Enterprise received news that the rendezvous with Yorktown would be terminated; Yorktown would take on different tasks, while the Enterprise would conduct the morally important attack on Wake Island.

The attack on Wake Island followed on the morning of February 24, 1942 at 7:50am. The strike force consisted of 49 aircraft from the USS Enterprise.

The Enterprise was back in action striking Japan's newly conquered Wake Island. Early in the morning SBD's bombed the airfield, destroyed fuel tanks which took out the entire Japanese gasoline supply, strafed Japanese positions, sank a patrol boat, and sank 3 A6M2N float planes in the lagoon. United States Naval losses were one SBD to AA fire.

Here is the current mission cycle:
Normandy '44: Non-historical mission with historical plane sets on the Normandy map.
Bungle in the Jungle: Non-historical mission with historical plane sets on the Okinawa map.
Supplies for Memel: Historical based mission in Kurland.
Strike on Tukkum: Historical based mission in Kurland.
Revenge for Wake Island: Historical based mission. USN based out of WI attacks IJN fleet.
Pearl Harbor Defense: Loosely based historical mission. P40s, F4F-3s, A20s help defend PH from the second wave of IJN fighters and bombers.
The Big E: Historical based mission with the USS Enterprise attacking Japanese positions on Wake Island.
Smoke on the Water: Non-historical mission putting the VVS vs the Luftwaffe – historical plane sets.
Battle over Europe: Ardennes Dec. 26, 1944: Mission by Ian Boys from the BOE Add-on.
Battle over Europe: Normandy June 9, 1944: Mission by Ian Boys from the BOE Add-on.
Battle over Europe: Pacific Early: Mission by Ian Boys from the BOE Add-on with historical plane sets dog fighting on the Pacific map.
Battle over Europe: Pacific Late: Mission by Ian Boys from the BOE Add-on with historical plane sets dog fighting on the Pacific map.

It is with regret that a formal announcement on the BF2142 squad must be made. 2142 showed a lot of promise at the start as an off shoot from BF2. A team was fielded and new recruits joined the hallowed halls only to be swayed by the next generation of FPS games.

IPB Image

The BF2142 team was started in Nov. 2006 and was first led by [RS]Decipher, XO [RS]Angel and TRO [RS]Flash. The gaming community was eager and excited for another Battlefield release and quickly adopted the futuristic game play that BF2142 provided. [RS] immediately began recruiting and the BF2142 team numbers quickly began to rise. In early 2007 the BF2142 TWL ladders were opened and matching was in full swing. 2007 also brought new leadership into the team as [RS]Angel was forced to resign due to RL issues. [RS]Flash became the team XO and [RS]Keeper moved into the TRO role.

By mid 2007 we were competing in the 8v8 conquest, 5v5 IA and 12v12 titan ladders. Participation levels were very high as on any given practice night it was not uncommon to have 10-15 eager members present and ready to go. The success and interest with the game was steady throughout the 2007, however, interest has been dwindling both within [RS] and the gaming community as a whole. We have decided to close the 2142 due to lack of interest and participation. Join me in saying farewell to a great game that has brought many great new members into the clan. I would like to thank everyone evolved from the CT, the FSL's and lastly to the members that have helped us all enjoy this great game. Special thanks to Dog, Gambill, Spike, Stryker and Keeper. You all contributed a great amount of effort into the team and without your help the team would not have been what it was. Another page in the [RS] book is turned and another chapter comes to an end.

BF2142 Teams - TWL 5v5 Infantry Ladder: Best Standing #3
BF2142 Teams - TWL 12v12 Titan Ladder: Best Standing #5
BF2142 Teams - TWL 8v8 Conquest Ladder: Best Standing #10

A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO DECIPHER FOR TYPING UP THE HISTORY OF THE TEAM

After many years of dedication to the Rogue-Saints, [RS]Delta has decided to step down as the Clan Commanding Officer. His leadership will be sorely missed as he moves on to pursue some personal accomplishments at home. His forsight into gaming and clan competition has brought this clan to the forefront in every game we have competed.

His skills will still be put to the test as a member of various teams but his time will be limited. Good luck in accomplishing those goals that you set for yourself at home and if there is ever anything we can do to help....don't hesitate to ask.

On behalf of the Rogue-Saints Delta....THANK YOU. You wil always be remembered here as a great leader and we hope that your recliner in the CT Advisor section is to your liking.
